HostedPCI is happy to announce that we have opened 3 new data centers around the globe in order to provide our clients the flexibility to choose where their data is being stored. Over the last few years, countries around the world have increased the security protocols around storing the personal data which is collected by companies for the purpose of making payments. One of the biggest changes to the storage of the data is where it is residing, with our data residency solutions, our clients are able to select exactly which data centre they would like their data to be stored.

HostedPCI Currently has 4 Data Centres to choose from; Canada, Australia, Europe and USA. On top of being able to select where your data resides, you can also choose whether your data is stored within Amazon AWS (USA) or GCP (Canada, Australia, or Europe).

Benefits of the data residency solutions

  • With local data centers, our clients are able to collect and store their cardholder data in accordance with the rules and regulations of both PCI compliance as well as data protection regulations of their specific country.
  • We help our global clients to collect and store their data within different data centers across the globe without having to manage numerous complicated solutions.
  • The clients are able to maintain full control of their data residing over different geographical locations from a single provider instead of managing multiple providers allowing for more flexibility and ease to maintain PCI compliance.
  • Above all, merchants are able to take back control of where their data is stored and the flexibility to choose which data center provider the data is stored within.
