HostedPCI isn’t a gateway on its own, we are a third party proxy which connects with many different gateways in order to assist our clients with reducing their scope while remaining with the gateway of their choice. HostedPCI allows clients to have as many gateway connections as they require without additional charges, each merchant account is connected to a HostedPCI payment profile which is added to the API request in order to specify the transaction flow. For more information on the gateways that HostedPCI currently support please check out our documentation page. If you don’t see the gateway you require please contact us for more details regarding adding your gateway to our list.
HostedPCI provides clients the ability to remain PCI compliant without requiring too many changes on their payment solution. The XML dispatch solution allows clients to send credit card and payment information to a third-party for processing instead of having to process the transaction themselves. This solution also allows the client to reduce their PCI scope while without changing their current payment processing vendor flow. This solution can also be combined with other payment solutions as well.
HostedPCI provides clients the ability to upload batch files with customer data including the token through HostedPCI into a designated SFTP location selected by the client. HostedPCI will replace the token with the real credit card before uploading to file to the end location. Batch files are encrypted using PGP encryptions and sent over a secure TLS 1.2 to a secure location. This solution allows the company who is collecting the credit card data for other companies the ability to become PCI compliant with an SAQ type A form.
HostedPCI understands that not all clients have the ability to change their payment processes to allow for independent tokenization solutions, however sometimes using a full gateway solution for collecting the credit card is not possible for this reason HostedPCI has developed the ability to create gateway tokens in order to assist clients with collecting credit cards without requiring the full payment flow change. Essentially HostedPCI collects the credit card and provides the client with a HPCI token which they then use to request a gateway token. Once the client has a gateway token they can do all transactions directly with the payment gateway of their choice.
