File Dispatch : Payment Profile

File Dispatch Tranfer

HostedPCI realized that there were certain merchants who required the ability to send files containing credit cards or Automated Clearing House (ACH) data and customer information over to a third-party SFTP location for either a partner or processor to grab for processing payments. In order to better accommodate these types of Merchants, HostedPCI developed the ability to securely send credit cards/ACH data to third parties. This solution is now known as our File Batch transfer which allows the merchant to send a file containing HostedPCI tokens and HostedPCI will replace them with the real credit card/ACH account numbers before sending it to the third party.

“This solution is now known as out File Batch transfer which allows the merchant to send a file containing HostedPCI tokens and HostedPCI will replace them with the real credit card/ACH data before sending it to the third party.

Merchants can gather the credit card or ACH account number through one of our tokenization solutions over an extended period and when the merchant is ready they can create a file with the HostedPCI Token and then send it through HostedPCI and over to the SFTP location specified by the Merchant for the processing.

Batch files are encrypted using PGP encryptions and sent over a secure TLS 1.2 connection. The SFTP transfer of data ensures that no data breach occurs since the data is encrypted using the merchant’s Public PGP key while being transferred and at rest. Since the merchants have the flexibility to choose and configure the designated SFTP location, it takes the security one step further since they can set the specific permissions and configurations for every individual user.

HostedPCI can configure the File Batch Transfer to accept all types of files and can send these files using TLS 1.2 to any SFTP or FTP location of your choice. Please contact us today for more information.

By utilizing this solution Merchants can become PCI compliant without the huge costs and questionnaires required when completing PCI DSS compliance themselves.
